HAS Integration is looking for a System Programming Specialist to join our programming team. You will be responsible for identifying and solving issues relating to audio, video, security, telephone, data and lighting systems as well as hardware and software upgrades and installations. You will help ensure smooth daily operations with the full support of the rest of our team.

Role:
This is a varied role for a person looking to develop their skills, experience and expertise with a leading system integrator. The role is for a mid-level programmer to support our busy programming team. You will need good programming skills with an eye for detail. Previous programming experience within the audiovisual and engineering industry is advantageous, but not essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and solve issues relating to desktop applications and related hardware.
- Endeavour to provide a top-class standard of customer service to end users.
- Responsibility for hardware and software upgrades and installs as required.
- Manage a central depository in relation to all applications supported by the desktop support engineer e.g. record all procedures in a correct manner.
- Be able to operate in a client facing and customer focused environment.
Your Background:
- Understanding basics of system programming.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to demonstrate close attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking and good judgement.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Understand and comply with H&S, GDPR and employee handbook policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of video conferencing and home automation technology.
Previous Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience in programming role (Preferred)
- Software Patching Experience (Essential)
- Extron Programming Certificate (Preferred)
- Crestron Programming Certificate (Preferred)
- Networking Experience (Preferred)
- Competence in reading AutoCAD, Excel/Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use electrical equipment, such as drills etc.
- Good organisational and time management skills
